Construction watchers unite?tracking the developments over at the World Trade Center site has never been easier. Thanks to the WTC Progress Facebook page, as well as the Port Authority's other social media outlets, it's easy to figure out exactly when a mason is installing some stone floor (yesterday), scaffolding went up on the east side of the transit hall (Friday), and when enormous pieces of archway got hoisted and connected to form the oculus that will be the centerpiece of the much-debated transportation hub's skylight-punctuated ceiling (last Monday). Even if the spire is best seen via the awesome GoPro footage from its topping out, snaps of its completion are pretty sweet, too.
