The co-op board at The Oliver Cromwell, a landmarked building on the Upper West Side, is suing one of its tenants to remove a makeshift sunroom that she constructed on her 22nd-floor terrace. The sunroom, which contains, for some unfathomable reason, a commercial kitchen, is leaking into the apartment below, a fact that its owner does not dispute. Not only that but she filed suit last year to force the building to make repairs that would stop the leaking. This is pretty much the most Upper West Side story ever. [NYP; previously]
