According to the New York Post, there are six big developments to watch this fall. They are: 1) the contentious rezoning of Midtown East; 2) major progress at 3 World Trade (pictured), thanks to Group M's new lease with Larry Silverstein; 3) the hotel conversion of Madison Square Park's iconic clocktower; 4) a final verdict on the rest of Sheldon Solow's First Avenue mud pit; 5) Jeff Sutton's mass amounts of new retail (Whole Foods, Burlington Coat Factory, American Eagle, Olive Garden?) coming to 125th Street; and 6) the completion of the long-awaited Knickerbocker Hotel from old offices and the general revitalization of that chunk of 42nd Street. Whew. [NYP]
