Leonard Street Garage Will Become BKSK-Designed Condos

New, 2 comments

Cars are out and condos are in at 24 Leonard, where the garage sold last fall to developer Charles Dunne (of V33 fame). Dunne has, The Real Deal reports, filed for permits to convert the garage into a nine-story, seven-unit, 37,650-square-foot condo building. (So we're likely looking at the increasingly-popular-with-developers large luxury units.) The conversion will cost around $15 million.

Instead of sticking with Winka Dubbeldam, who designed V33, Dunne has tapped BKSK Architects for the Leonard Street building. BKSK is having a big month downtown: the firm has also designed One Vandam, the new glassy condo building going up at 180 Sixth Avenue.
