Developer Joseph Chetrit and luxury hotel operator King & Grove just went their separate ways at the Hotel Chelsea, where King & Grove bought out Chetrit's stake in the property. The change of ownership was just one piece of a larger transition, The Real Deal explains. Chetrit and King & Grove have actually split up their hotel portfolio entirely, with King & Grove founder Ed Scheetz taking over the King & Grove New York, King & Grove Lafayette, and King & Grove Williamsburg. Chetrit will keep the remaining hotels in the partnership's portfolio. [Real Deal; previously]
