Let There Be Brunch

New, 2 comments

It's official: sidewalk brunching can now commence at 10 a.m. on Sundays. An archaic law that did not allow outdoor cafe seating before noon was repealed this weekend, so New Yorkers can now nosh their omelets en plein air legally. Popular Greenpoint restaurants were ticketed last year for their outdoor seating, and they pushed to get the laws changed. However, it is still legally to serve alcohol before noon, so brunch-goers still have to soberly endure baby crib-toting parents. [WSJ via Eater NY; previously]
