It seems that the Harlem real estate market is unknown territory for Curbed commenters. The guesses on this week's PriceSpotter varied wildly, from $275,000 to $975,000. The actual asking price is $599,000, and the unit is located in 2547 Eighth Avenue near 136th Street. Just as asking prices were all of the map, so were opinions about the apartment. A handful of people liked the garden and new kitchen, but many others though the renovation looked cheap and "directly out of a Home Depot catalogue." That said, more than half of the guesses were still above the listing price. Now that the location is revealed, is this place worth what it wants?
