Brooklyn House Spends 8 Days on Market, Gets $350K Over Ask

New, 9 comments

In today's edition of The Brooklyn Townhouse Market Is Completely Bonkers, this 1860s Greek Revival townhouse in Cobble Hill hit the market for $3.5 million back in February. Eight days later it was in contract. Today, the sale finally hit city records and the closing price was revealed to be $3,850,000, a solid ten percent over ask. Back during the heady eight days when the 3,825-square-foot house was on the market, one anonymous commenter claimed to have seen it at a crowded (story checks out) open house and reported that it "really needs all new hvac, electrical, plumbing, structural, everything." Those ceilings are real pretty, though.
