The rebuilt Greenwich Street is starting to take shape in the new World Trade Center. It runs between the 9/11 Memorial and 4WTC, creating an "appealingly open" space between the new features. Four WTC's 47-foot-tall lobby, clad in clear glass, "embraces" the street with a wide open plaza. The feeling continues inside the lobby, which now holds a graceful, 98-foot-diameter titanium arc called "Sky Memory" by sculptor Kozo Nishino. Floating 22 feet above the lobby, the artwork is "about looking into the future." [NYT; previously]
