The annual fall funfest known as Open House New York is rapidly approaching (Oct. 12-13, for those not counting down the days), and the group continues to tease us with details about new events. Today, they highlighted four vertical tours that will give New Yorkers a chance to see the city from an unusual vantage point. You can climb 124-feet of spiral staircases to the top of The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, 149 steps up the Venetian Gothic tower of the Jefferson Market Library in the West Village, or trek 100 steps into to Trinity Church's recently renovated bell tower. And of course, OHNY favorite the Little Red Lighthouse will once again open its doors. [OHNY Blog; previously]
