40 Mercer's Private High Line Returns With Lower Price

This penthouse at 40 Mercer Street has the look of the High Line about it, at least in the lit-up night shots that graced the property's first listing for $16 million. But even a private High Line-ish terrace and a lap pool doesn't necessarily spell a sale. The place came off the market after a chop to $14.5 million. Now it has returned at an even lower price of $13.995 million, with a new set of brokers and listing pics.
The last recorded sale with any dollar value was for $12 million in 2009. Another transfer was recorded last year, with no price attached.
