New West Palm Megaproject; Versace Mansion's Fate Decided

New, 2 comments

The latest from Curbed Miami, our outpost in the "Sixth Borough"...

1) West Palm Beach Related Group has announced plans to build a decidedly enormous six-tower, 1,059-unit condo project and call it Icon Palm Beach. A project of this magnitude might be too much for WPB to handle.

2) Downtown Miami All Aboard Florida has grand plans for its new Miami station or city-within-a-train-station-within-a-city. Retail, office, hotel, and residential space will be housed in towers above the tracks. We're still waiting on renderings from Skidmore, Owings, & Merill though.

3) South Beach The Nakash family of Jordache Jeans fame beat out the likes of The Donald and Palm Beach Polo and Country Club owner Glenn Straub at an auction for the famed Versace Mansion. Final price: $41.5 million.
