Cornerspotted: St. Mary's Catholic School on Staten Island

A couple commenters thought the school in question was Automotive High in Williamsburg, but it was Cornerspotter ace Ferryboi who identified the building as the former school of St. Mary's of the Assumption on Sharpe Avenue in Staten Island. The Catholic school was one of 27 closed in 2011, and not long after, the building was taken over by the New World Preparatory Charter School. The photo was taken in 1930, and, as you can see, the building has barely changed.
