The sports fields at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 5 opened last winter, and now the ever-expanding park issued a Request for Proposal for the pier's adjacent marina. The 320,000-square-foot site is permitted for a 186-slip marina, and respondents, who will develop and operate the site, are required to incorporate storm resiliency measures and eco-friendly design practices. Park officials also issued an RFP for a skating rink at Pier 2 and a concession stand at Pier 5. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
