Viewing the New York City skyline from the air was perhaps more fun in the 1930s, when passengers could see NYC during rides in blimps. Bowery Boogie has unearthed a video of an aerial tour of Manhattan by zeppelin sometime during that decade. (In those days, even the Empire State Building was thinking about ways to dock zeppelins.) Click through for a 1:25-minute-long vicarious blimp ride. [Bowery Boogie]
