Location scout Nick Carr has discovered yet another hidden gem, but this time it's not in the Bronx or Sunset Park, but rather right in the middle of one of the city's most hated, most touristed destinations: Times Square. Carr ventured inside the Times Square Museum & Visitor Center in search of a bathroom, finding not only clean latrines but also the converted Embassy Theater, which opened in 1925 complete with chandeliers, a wooden stage with footlights, and intact ornamentation galore.
