EAST SIDE?The East River Blueway is not yet a reality, but the ambitious design is already winning creators WXY Architecture accolades. AIA New York State awarded the firm the "Urban Design Award of Excellence," plus "Best in New York State" over all categories of the AIANYS Design Awards, noting that "the plan admirably deals with one of the big issues of our time: creating sustainable livable urban environments." WXY also received honors for their $10 million redesign of the Drawing Center. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]

HUDSON SQUARE?It's safe to say that the Renwick Modern has officially shed its troubled past. Once known as No. 22 Renwick, the building suffered price cuts, lawsuits, and foreclosure, but the new iteration, which came to market earlier this year, has found success. Eighty percent of the condos have sold, and the three penthouses will soon be listed. Two penthouses each occupy a full floor and the third is a duplex on the top two floors. To date, the most expensive unit in the building is a 2BR/2BA listed for $1.765 million. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
