Transforming what is currently a dead end, Community Board 2 voted to support a makeover to the northern edge of Jay Street so that it leads directly into Brooklyn Bridge Park. But first the cobblestoned path, which will include a pedestrian bridge and boulder-shaped road blocks that double as (um?) benches, has to pass muster with the Landmarks Preservation Commission.
