Just in time for Fashion Week, Elle Decor chatted with some of New York City's fashion designers about their favorite rooms in their own homes, from entry halls to libraries. Above is Donna Karan's loft, decorated with her husband's artwork. (Karan hosts "luncheons and parties" there, says Elle Decor, which more genteel than the events Donna Karan has been known for around the neighborhood.)
Tracy Reese's living room is less minimalist. She started with an eggplant mohair sofa, added handpainted wallpaper, and went on from there.
