Prospect Park South Colonial Revival Sells for $2 Million

New, 19 comments

114 Westminster Road, a 4,700-square-foot, 12-room colonial revival house built in 1908, just set a new record for single lot houses in Victorian Flatbush/Prospect Park South/Ditmas Park/whatever neighborhood this is when it sold for an even $2 million, according to the Observer. A former Brownstoner House of the Day (they described it as "straight outta Westchester"), the three-story, 6BR house features a lot more green than we're used to seeing in the city, both outside (lawn, bushes) and in (lots of green wallpaper).

The $2 million sale price, while impressive, actually constitutes a significant pricechop as the house was originally asking $2.8 million when it was first listed in 2007, and $3 million when it returned to market in 2010.
