A Brooklyn judge has dropped architecture firm Stephen B. Jacobs Group from a $200 million lawsuit filed by the condo board of On Prospect Park at 1 Grand Army Plaza. The suit—which was filed in September 2012—alleges that the building's amenities were shoddy and misrepresented so that units could be moved quickly, with the plaintiffs highlighting a maintenance system that has reportedly made the roof "unsalvageable," and would cost $2 million to replace. The judge ruled that Jacobs was not party to a 2003 agreement between the board and the building's developers, and is thus not liable. [TRD; previously]
