Art Show in Abandoned Building; Tallest Hotel Time-Lapse

New, 2 comments

EAST VILLAGE—Street artist Hanksy is hosting a show tonight in an abandoned East Village building that's slated for demolition. The show will include lots of stuff painted on the walls and a performance piece, and if attending street art shows in derelict buildings in person isn't exactly your thing, you can just take a look at the sneak peak on ANIMAL. MIDTOWN—EarthCam collaborated with developer G Holdings to create a time-lapse video of the Marriott Hotel at 1717 Broadway, the tallest hotel in North America, rising into the sky. The 68-story, 716-foot structure was built in only 27 months (but don't worry, the video is only 1:07). [Youtube; previously]
