The Real Deal takes a deep dive into how Related is gearing up to build and find tenants for the 750,000 square feet of retail space at the Hudson Yards megaproject. Right now, the only confirmed tenant is a Fairway market, but brokers say that an anchor department store is likely, and possibly a 60,000- to 80,000-square-foot movie theater. The mix of retailers and pricing ($800 to $1,200 psfa lot for Tenth Avenue!) is meant to be somewhat akin to the Time Warner Center. Construction and marketing are set to start this month.
