This 15 Central Park West Apartment Wants $30 Mill—Yawn

New, 31 comments

15 Central Park West listings don't really seem to be trying very hard anymore, although at least this 3BR/3.5BA, just listed for $29.995 million, spices things up a little with a weird chandelier and a tiny pedestal thing in the foyer. Then again, there's the bedroom, occupied solely by a bed and a tree stump, like some kind of log cabin in the woods. The apartment's owner, Michael Lewis, the global markets head of commodities research at Deutsche Bank London [edit: wrong Michael Lewis], paid $10.1 million for it in 2008, and now stands to triple his money. The listing is the sixth most expensive per square foot currently on the market in New York City.
