Sales Will Launch This Spring At Condo Conversion 7 Harrison

The Steven Harris-designed condo conversion of 7 Harrison Street is speeding right along. The marketing team tells Curbed that sales will launch this spring, and the project will be complete by the third quarter of the year. The project, developed by Matrix Development and Clarion Partners, will hold a total of 12 homes: 10 half-floor units, one townhouse with a private backyard, and one duplex penthouse with a large terrace. Prices will start around $5 million, and the penthouse is expected to be listed for about $25 million.

The exterior of the former cold storage warehouse, built in 1893, won't look that much different along Harrison Street, but the facade along Staple Street is getting beautified with restored brick work, plus the cornice is being extended across the whole building. Staple Street is rather narrow, so photos of the site don't show the full length of the building, but a newly released rendering (top) gives a better sense of the size.

All units will be three- to four-bedrooms, and building amenities include the standard 24-hour doorman, fitness center, storage units, bike room, and refrigerated lobby storage. Design firm Rees Roberts + Partners is doing the landscaping and interiors, and DXA Studio is also collaborating on the design.
