New Rendering Shows Manhattan West's Residential Tower

New, 8 comments

Renderings for Brookfield Properties' mixed-use megaproject Manhattan West have shown only the twin office towers and the public open space, but New York YIMBY has a new image to remind us that, oh yeah, this development has a hearty chunk of residential, too. The new render shows the SOM-designed project's residential tower, which will rise between the new office towers and Brookfield's 450 West 33rd Street. The residential building rise 60 stories, so it will be a bit shorter than the 65-story office towers. The new rendering was not accompanied by any new details, but construction of the towers will not begin until Brookfield completes the deck over the railyards between 33rd and 31st Streets, likely in 2015.
