This Upper East Side ... Apartment? ... Wants $4.5 Million

New, 16 comments

Well, this looks homey. The 35th-floor 3BR in 530 East 76th Street, also known at The Promenade (side note: the word promenade is defined as "a place for strolling," so that is definitely a reasonable name for 39-story glass tower), just hit the market for $4.5 million and most closely resembles an airport lounge, only colder. Relax at one of the many haphazardly placed seating stations, or cozy up with the whole family around the 1,000-foot-long conference table. Stare out the windows, thinking about how much bigger your windows are than everybody else's windows. Invite everyone over to look at your windows. Don't let them touch anything. You have the best windows!
