Woody Allen's Wunderkind Ronan Farrow Buys $1.5M UWS Pad

New, 19 comments

For being the estranged son and brother-in-law of the schmaltzy King of New York himself, Woody Allen, it surprises us that Ronan Farrow just purchased his first piece of city real estate. Perhaps it's the end of a life-long pursuit to stay distant (well, at least across Central Park) from mother Mia Farrow's ex, or perhaps it's because the 26-year-old pillow-lipped Rhodes Scholar is slated to launch a talk show on MSNBC later this month and needs a room of his own. The Post reports Farrow dished out $1.495 million for his new, relatively modest 982-square-foot digs. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment in the Upper West Side's Hudson Condominiums at 225 West 60th Street has nice views from the 15th floor, but not much to speak of beyond that.
