It's almost too ironic to be true. Williamsburg's de facto faux-rugged plaid-shirt dress code now has an apartment to matcha 2BR "urban cabin," in fact, that's for rent by owner for $3,500 a month. On Craigslist, of course. Meander through a path lined by overgrown greenery and a few appropriately rustic planters to your 1,000-square-foot garden unit, where the bedrooms are apparently located on opposite sites of the apartment, and the back one opens onto a private yard. A bit more babble:
Hardwood floors throughout, eat-in kitchen, laundry and extra storage in the basement. Tree-lined street. All utilities (except for cable/internet) included. The exact address isn't given, but it's near North 6th Street and Havemeyer, "3 blocks to Bedford 'L' or Lorimer 'L.'" Only cats are OK, pets-wise, which seems a bit of a let-down given the outdoor space and how many dogs roam that area these days.
