The year is off to a good start for TV show host/author/chef Anthony Bourdain. First, Bourdain announced plans for a massive international food market in New York City, and now he and his mixed martial arts-fighting wife just bought themselves an Upper East Side condo. According to public records filed yesterday (h/t Luxury Listings NYC), the Bourdains paid $3.35 million for a 2,250-square-foot condo at 40 East 94th Street. It's a three-bedroom unit with three full bathrooms. Considering Bourdain's life revolves around food, one would think a high-end kitchen would be a must, but it's not shown in the listing photos and it looks quite small on the floorplan, though there's plenty of room for expansion in that giant living/dining room.

Bourdain has lived in Manhattan for a long time, but prior to this purchase, he and his wife were renting at 201 East 87th Street.
