The prefabulous Broadway Stack, which is apparently now known as simply The Stack, houses 28 apartments that will hit the rental market this month. Of those, 22 are market-rate and six will be affordable. Studios will be priced in the mid-$1,800s, and rents will range to the high $3,000s for 3BRs. Modular construction is so hot right now, and The Stack is one of the city's first end-products. It's made from 56 modules, which were produced in a Pennsylvania factory, then shipped and, well, stacked into a seven-story building at 4857 Broadway. [WSJ; previously]
