Over the weekend, it was reported that the Broken Angel, an eccentric, fanciful mansion in Clinton Hill, sold to a developer for $4.1 million, but it seems that the former owner and creator Arthur Wood, is still fighting for the house. Brownstoner received a copy of a letter Wood supposedly sent to the new owner, saying that the "foreclosure at 4-6 Downing Street isn't final" and "if you ignore this and go ahead with your renovation, you are taking the risk of the lose [sic] of this property and whatever money you put into it." The house has a long history, and it's unclear who exactly was the recent seller. It changed hands last year for $2.05M. [Brownstoner; previously]
