Apartment Listed for $920,000 in Nolita Building [UPDATED]

New, 11 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

A renovated 1BR in 41 Spring Street has hit the market for $920,000, and if that address sounds vaguely familiar, it's probably because it's the building that was set on fire last year during a domestic dispute, killing one resident. The arsonist was charged with murder and the building was badly damaged and, according to a tipster, has been boarded up for the better part of the past year. The brokerbabble, of course, conveniently forgets to mention any of that.

UPDATE: The broker reached out to clarify some points: "The building that was caught on fire is in fact a completely different building to mine and is located at the front while my building is located in the rear which you have to walk through a courtyard to get to. No one has died from a fire in the building and the building is also owned by different owners."
