One of the most exciting properties for sale in Manhattan—actually a collection of three separate townhouses—is being taken off Annie Leibovitz's hands to the tune of $28.5 million. The photographer had first listed her West Village compound for $33 million in December of 2012. She cut the price to $29 million this past April and later took the property off the market, briefly, before returning it in September with a new ask of $29.9 million. The buyer(s) are hidden behind an LLC, but whoever they are, they now have 10,200 square feet of living space in the West Village, with a total of 13 fireplaces, so they could be doing a whole lot worse for themselves. Leibovitz paid a combined $6.1 million for the three houses in 2002-2003.
