With all of the residential and mixed-use project planned for the BAM Cultural District, it was only a matter of time before the area's public spaces got spruced up. The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership issued an RFP seeking a team to redesign and reopen the triangular BAM Park. The small green space sits at Fulton and Lafayette Streets atop the Fulton Street G stop. Apparently the subway action is what made the subsurface unsafe to walk on in the first place. [Brownstoner]
