11 Beach Street's Townhouses Will Have Glass-Walled Pools

New, 4 comments

The mid-September launch of Tribeca's 11 Beach Street, the office building-to-luxury-condos conversion, brought a slew of renderings for the 27-apartment building, but details on the project's three townhouses were null; non-existant, really. That changes now. An insider sends the first released renderings for the decked-out townhouses, which apparently include Thomas Juul-Hansen-designed private pools that are partially enclosed in glass, exercise and lounging rooms, and "multisensory" spas with a steam room, sauna, and "rainforest shower," which reads like an upgraded, mist- and nature sound-producing version of the popular flat shower head. 11 Beach Street's townhouses and penthouses have yet to come to market.

The insider also sends news that one of the three townhouses has traded in an off-market deal for $10 million. Although no floorplans for the townhouses are available, word comes that they are 4,827-square-foot triplexes with four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and private street-level entrances. BKSK is spearheading the building conversion with Thomas Juul-Hansen designing its interiors. Construction is projected to be complete in early 2016.
