The buzz since Harry Macklowe bought Art Deco office building One Wall Street is that it's headed for a residential conversion, and now such a move is one step closer. The $585 million deal just closed after the developer secured $460 million in acquisition financing, and though Macklowe wouldn't comment, Department of Buildings permit filings should give the next clue as to the future of the 1931-built beauty.
