Beekman Tower's Toppers Try, But Can't Match Temple Court

New, 20 comments

Up to this point, views of the tower that will house The Beekman Residences have been pretty limited to, well, one recurring rendering. Thankfully, that's not the case anymore. YIMBY has spotted a new view of the rising residential tower that will adjoin to the revamped Temple Court building, soon to be The Beekman Hotel at 5 Beekman Street. Like Temple Court, the tower will also have pointed turrets at its top. Unless the rendering is just plain bad, it seems they can be chalked up to a contrived effort at cohesion—the 51-story tower designed by Gerner Kronick + Valcarel stands in sharp contrast to the late 19th-century brick building it will adjoin.

When complete, the Beekman Hotel will have 287 guest rooms and the tower which will take the address of 115 Nassau Street will hold 68 condominiums.
