Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once listed for $95 million, the 18th floor of the Sherry Netherland has been pricechopped yet again, and is now down to a paltry $85 million. The home also switched brokers again, and while the last marketing team said the pricechop down to $88M "was a mistake," the new broker said that "the price cut reflects the fact that there have been recent sales that have occurred close to that price range," meaning the record-setting $71.3 million sale at 740 Park Avenue. Only in a billionaire's world is $14 million difference considered "close." [NYDN; previously]
