To date, the construction of large-scale modular buildings in the city has not been promising of the cost-saving construction method, which becomes temperamental as buildings grow taller. With the embattled Pacific Park tower B2, the tallest planned modular tower at 32 stories, at the center of two lawsuits alleging its design and execution is flawed, the feasibility of large-scale modular projects comes into question.
