Sportscaster Marv Albert Offloads $15M Lincoln Square PH

New, 2 comments

After owning the penthouse of 150 Columbus Avenue for nearly two decades, famed sportscaster Marv Albert has rid himself of the apartment. The Daily News reports that the 3,553-square-foot home is now in contract, and StreetEasy shows that it was last listed for $14.9 million. Albert first put it on the market in May for $16.5 million, and we were doubtful that it would sell for that, considering a larger, newer unit sold for $16 million after sitting on the market for more than a year. Albert bought the place in 1996 for $2.39 million, and it has a pretty spectacular 1,500-square-foot terrace with an irrigation system, speakers, and retractable awning. Why give all that up? To move to Tribeca, of course.
