Developer Jerry Witkoff's demolition of Long Island's graffiti mecca 5Pointz is long, slow, and painful. After beginning in late August, the destruction arrived at a more startling point this week when iconic tags containing the building's logo and website came crashing to the ground, captured on video over at Untapped Cities. Historian and blogger Mitch Waxman published a series of demo photos himself along with a little eulogy. Watch, and try not to cry on your keyboard.
