UWS Catholic School Will Likely Undergo Residential Conversion

New, 4 comments

St. Agnes Boys High School is the latest in a slew of church-owned buildings to be handed over to development-minded folks. The Real Deal reports that Cary Tamarkin's Tamarkin Co. have purchased the former boys school at 553-559 West End Avenue at 87th Street for $50 million from the Archdiocese of New York. While it has not been confirmed that the 1919 limestone and brick structure will be converted into a residential building, it seems more than likely.
