Another day, another apartment tower for Downtown Brooklyn. Plans were filed for a 14-story, 91,000-square foot residential building with 106 units at 285 Schermerhorn Street, currently home to the seven-story headquarters of Brooklyn Community Services. The permits note that the project is "a vertical enlargement and conversion of [an] existing building," so it seems that the current structure will not be demolished. The developer is Second Development Services and the architect is GF55 Partners. [YIMBY]
