Everything except for the construction itself has been quiet regarding Two Trees's massive Brooklyn Bridge-kissing rental building at 60 Water Street. Despite the slow flow of information regarding the 290-apartment building, some particularsunfortunately not interior renderingshave made their way down the pipeline: leasings will launch today and studios will start at $2,964, one-bedrooms at $3,498, and two-bedrooms at $6,018. It seems all apartments will have in-unit laundry facilities, dishwashers, microwaves, and hardwood floors, and select apartments will have private outdoor space. These are, of course, details regarding the building's 232 market rate apartments. In August it was revealed that the building's 58 affordable apartments would start at about $500. Move-ins will start December 1.
The building includes a 17-story tower, a nine-story section, and a 300-seat middle school that runs along Front and Dock streets. The residential portion's entrance will be along Dock and Water streets. LEESER Architects designed the glassy structure that's rising amidst the cobblestone and brick backdrop of Dumbo. Ismael leyva is the architect of record.
