The MTA, which, as always, is in dire need of money, is set to put into action a plan to raise fare and toll revenues 4%. Now it just needs to figure out what that plan will be. The Daily News' Pete Donohue predicts that the base fare will remain at $2.50 (having just been raised last year), while the unlimited cards will go up by around 5%.
