Formerly Fire-Ravaged Brooklyn Heights TH Sells For $6.25M

An 1840's Greek Revival townhouse with a sizzling backstory has sold for $6.25 million, the Observer reports. The home at 67 Cranberry Street was purchased by its sellers for $2.8 million in 2008, and caught fire mid-renovation from its former employ as a multi-family property. There's absolutely no trace of the unfortunate incident these days, as the sellers leave behind a 21-foot-wide home with three bedrooms, a library, an architecturally interesting dining room, and a two-level landscaped patio. The sellers traded up—at least in price—for the townhouse at 104 Willow Street, which they acquired for $10.625, making it one of the most expensive residential sales in the borough to date.
