Commenters argued that the ceilings in this week's Pricespotter property, a two-bedroom, two-bath with a sizable terrace located just south of Prospect Park, were too low for it to be converted into a duplex. Yet that's what the listing at the Alvora, on Crooke Avenue just east of the tennis courts, says. Despite confusion about the neighborhood ("South Prospect Park is a thing, really?") and lack of storage ("In short, not enough closets."), almost everyone guessed too high, above $899,000, with the highest projection being a whopping $1.75M. (Except Countess LuAnne, who proffered 775K.) All wrong, because the real ask is $825,000.
