EAST VILLAGE—One tenant of an unnamed BLDG Management building came home this past weekend to find that a steam pipe under his floorboards has burst, basically ruining his apartment. When he called the landlord, however, the response was: "I hope you have renters insurance because it's not our responsibility to cover this." Things got worse from there (complete with pictures).
