Where do city employees, with city employee salaries, live? According to Gothamist, a disproportionate share of municipal workers reside in predominately black neighborhoods (32 percent of city employees are black), with the highest concentration of city employees living in Canarsie, Brownsville, East New York, and southeastern Queens. As of fiscal year 2012, the middle 50 percent of city workers earned between $42,958 and $78,885. Lots of maps explaining more, this way. [Gothamist]
